The Ides of March is an American jazz rock band that had a major US and minor UK hit with the song "Vehicle" in 1970. After going on hiatus in 1973, the band returned with their original line-up in 1990 and has been active since then.

Profile: Chicago based group that originally formed in the mid-sixties as a garage band. Their sound progressed through psychedelic pop rock, and blue eyed soul. At the beginning of the 70's they were signed to Warner / Reprise and released a number of LP's that would best be described as jazz-rock over the next decade.
