Coordinates: 43°48′N 22°41′E. Vidin Province ( Bulgarian: Област Видин) is the northwesternmost province of Bulgaria. It borders Serbia to the west and Romania to the northeast. Its administrative centre is the city of Vidin on the Danube river. The area is divided into 11 municipalities.
Vidin (Bulgarian: Видин, pronounced) is a port city on the southern bank of the Danube in north-western Bulgaria. It is close to the borders with Romania and Serbia, and is also the administrative centre of Vidin Province, as well as of the Metropolitan of Vidin (since 870).

Vidin (en búlgaro: Видин) es una ciudad del noroeste de Bulgaria, capital de la provincia del mismo nombre. Tiene alrededor de 48 000 habitantes. Ubicación. La ciudad tiene poco más de 58 018 habitantes. Se sitúa en la esquina noroeste de Bulgaria a 220 km de Sofía. Está comunicada por ferry con Rumanía a través del Danubio.
