"Meet Death" is the first chapter of "A Matter Of Life and Death". It was published in August 07, 2015 and is one of the shortest chapters of the comic, having only six pages.
This chapter is an introduction to the character Death, showing the reader his job, appearance and a tip of his complex personality. He is shown as a rather cold and unemotional being, disinterested in his job.
A girl has just commited suicide in her bathroom, using a razor blade to cut her own wrists. Death is shown sitting in between her corpse and a toilet bowl, being described by himself as "not the epitome of his majestic magnificence".
He asks the girl why she did it, and she shows hesitance to tell him, questioning why she should do it. He replies by saying that it is her last chance of doing it, since he will be the last one to talk to her before her soul is reaped.
She reveals that her three-year boyfriend was cheating on her for over a year with a girl named Celia. With her heart crushed, feeling like a hollow shell, the girl decided to kill herself. Her anger and hatred is shown when she declares her plan of making her ex-boyfriend's life miserable.

Death, then, declares that he's sorry and he has to drawn the line. He stands up and touches the girl's head with his hand, explaining that the dead shouldn't interfere with the living. The surprise is when he declares that the girl's ex-boyfriend has his time nearing the end.

Life is the second god introduced in AMOLAD, and is the only god to have a chapter with his name. Life loves his job, and it is shown in the beginning that he dislikes Death for ending everything he creates. He blames Death when his creations' times come to an end, and is later ashamed by it...
