Hristo Stoichkov (en búlgaro: Христо Стоичков, Hirsto Stoičkov, pronunciado /jristo stoíchkof/) (Plovdiv, 8 de febrero de 1966) es un exfutbolista búlgaro que jugaba como delantero y ganador del Balón de Oro en 1994.

Delantero búlgaro que llegó al Barça procedente del CSKA Sofia, destacaba por su espíritu de lucha y se convirtió en un jugador muy carismático. Con grandes cualidades técnicas, un disparo muy potente y buen lanzador de falta, era un jugador muy impulsivo.
At club level, Stoichkov spent six years at CSKA Sofia and became the top goalscorer in Europe in 1990, receiving the European Golden Shoe. He won 3 titles and lead the team to the semifinal of CWC against Barcelona in 1989. Stoichkov scored 3 goals in two games against the Spanish giants.
