21 de may. de 2023 · In January 1960, Brown embarked on a UK tour with Billy Fury, Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran. It was Jack Good who came up with the idea of dressing Vincent in head-to-toe black leather, but the hard-drinking Be-Bop-A-Lula singer had no trouble living up to his menacing image.

In 1958, Brown was spotted by television producer Jack Good who hired him as lead guitarist in the orchestra of his new TV series, Boy Meets Girls. During this period, he backed a number of US musicians such as Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran on their UK tours. 1960s. Brown signed a management agreement with Larry Parnes.
Vincent Eugene Craddock (February 11, 1935 – October 12, 1971), known as Gene Vincent, was an American rock and roll musician who pioneered the style of rockabilly. His 1956 top ten hit with his backing band the Blue Caps, "Be-Bop-a-Lula", is considered a significant early example of rockabilly. [2] .
Joe Brown was one of the original Rock & Roll Stars to come out of the UK. One of the first UK session men, his early career highlights include playing guitar with Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Cash and other US stars when they came over to Europe.
