Federico Alejandro, margrave de Brandeburgo-Bayreuth (Weferlingen, Magdeburgo, 10 de mayo de 1711-Bayreuth, 26 de febrero de 1763) fue un noble alemán, miembro de la familia Hohenzollern y Margrave de Brandeburgo-Bayreuth.
Commissioned by Margravine Wilhelmine, wife of Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg–Bayreuth, it was designed by the renowned theatre architect Giuseppe Galli Bibiena. As a court opera house in a public space, it foreshadowed the large public theatres of the 19th century.
