George Gordon, 4th Earl of Huntly (1514 – 28 October 1562) was a Scottish nobleman. Life. He was the son of John Gordon, Lord Gordon, and Margaret Stewart, daughter of James IV and Margaret Drummond. [a] George Gordon inherited his earldom and estates in 1524 at age 10.

He died on 28 October 1562, in Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom, at the age of 49, and was buried in Elgin, Moray, Scotland, United Kingdom.

Huntly won a success against the English at Hadden Rigg in 1542, was a regent after the death of James V, but was captured by Somerset at Pinkie Cleugh in 1547.
He married Lady Jean Stewart Countess of Huntly on 20 October 1474, in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. He registered for military service in 1501. He died on 28 October 1562, in Scotland, at the age of 48, and was buried in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.
