Gottfried Heinrich Graf zu Pappenheim (29 May 1594 – 17 November 1632) was a field marshal of the Holy Roman Empire in the Thirty Years' War. A supporter of the Catholic League, he was mortally wounded during the Battle of Lützen fighting the Protestant forces under Swedish king Gustavus Adolphus.

Gottfried Heinrich Graf zu Pappenheim (* 29. Mai 1594 in Treuchtlingen; † 17. November 1632 in Leipzig) war ein General im Dreißigjährigen Krieg, zuletzt im Range eines Feldmarschalls. Er kämpfte für die Katholische Liga und Kaiser Ferdinand II., unter Wallensteins Oberbefehl.

Pappenheim formed up his cuirassier regiments, about 1,000 men strong, in ten files of 100 men, stressing depth and narrowing the front.
