Gotthard von Kettler, después Gotthard Kettler (también escrito Ketteler, en alemán: Gotthard Kettler, Herzog von Kurland; c. Anröchte, 2 de febrero de 1517 - Mitau, 17 de mayo de 1587), fue el último Maestro de la Orden Livona y el primer Duque de Curlandia y Semigalia.

Gotthard Kettler, auch Ketteler (* 1517 möglicherweise auf Schloss Eggeringhausen bei Mellrich, Westfalen; † 17. Mai 1587 in Mitau , Herzogtum Kurland und Semgallen , heute Lettland ) war ab 1559 der letzte Landmeister des Deutschen Ordens in Livland und ab 1561 erster Herzog von Kurland und Semgallen .
Gotthard Kettler, último maestre de la Orden de Livonia, fue el primer duque de Curlandia. Gotthard Kettler, the last Master of the Livonian Order, became the first duke of Courland. Other members of the Order became the Couronian nobility, with the fiefdoms they had hitherto held becoming their estates. In all, Kettler received nearly one-third of the land in the new duchy.
When the Swedes besieged Lode in September, Gotthard Kettler and a force of four banners of cavalry, two companies of foot soldiers, and 800 Poles and Tatars attacked the besieging Swedes who had a force of around 2 banners and 3 companies of foot soldiers.
