Miss Porter's School (MPS) is a private college preparatory school for girls founded in 1843 in Farmington, Connecticut. The school draws students from many of the fifty U.S. states, as well as from abroad.
We believe tuition costs should not be an obstacle in educating young women. We offer need-based financial aid, merit scholarships and payment plans to meet the cost of a Porter’s education. We work closely with all families through the entire financial aid process with respect to individual family circumstances.

Miss Porter’s School, founded in 1843 in Farmington, is an elite, female, privately funded, 40-acre, educational institution in central Connecticut. Its original mission was to train young girls to become useful Christian wives through development of their academic learning, moral values, social skills, and music and art appreciation.
