Moscow–Shanghai (German: Moskau–Shanghai or Der Weg nach Shanghai) is a 1936 German drama film directed by Paul Wegener and starring Pola Negri, Gustav Diessl and Susi Lanner. It was shot at the Babelsberg Studios in Berlin. The film's sets were designed by the art director Alfred Bütow and Willi Herrmann.
Synopsis by Sandra Brennan. In this romantic melodrama, a widowed Russian noblewoman finds her torn asunder by the 1917 revolution. Just before she is to return home, she attends a grand ball. There she encounters a handsome young officer.
