William Herbert (12 de enero de 1778 – 28 de mayo de 1847 ) fue un botánico, poeta, y clérigo inglés. Fungió como Miembro del Parlamento por Hampshire de 1806 a 1807, y por Cricklade de 1811 a 1812.

William Herbert, 3rd Earl of Pembroke (8 April 1580 – 10 April 1630) KG, PC, of Wilton House in Wiltshire, was an English nobleman, politician and courtier. He served as Chancellor of the University of Oxford and together with King James I founded Pembroke College, Oxford.

William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke KG (c. 1423 – 27 July 1469), known as " Black William ", was a Welsh nobleman, soldier, politician, and courtier. [1] Life. He was the son of William ap Thomas, founder of Raglan Castle, and Gwladys ferch Dafydd Gam, and grandson of Dafydd Gam, an adherent of King Henry V of England.
Died: July 27, 1469. Northampton, Northamptonshire, England (Age c. 46) Pembroke in History. Although William Herbert, a native Welshman, was a clear supporter of the house of York when the Wars of the Roses officially began in 1455, he did serve the reigning house of Lancaster loyally.
