Sir Angus James Bruce Ogilvy KCVO (14 September 1928 – 26 December 2004) was a British businessman. He is best known as the husband of Princess Alexandra of Kent, a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.
Airlie has been in the Ogilvy family since the 15th century. The Estate is situated in unspoilt country in the heart of the spectacular Angus Glens. There are two family seats; Airlie Castle dating from the 15th century, and Cortachy Castle dating from the 16th century.

Airlie Castle is a mansion house in the parish of Airlie, Angus, near the junction of the Isla and Melgund rivers, 9 kilometres west of Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland. A castle was built on the site in c. 1432 and was burnt out in 1640, with a mansion house built incorporating and on top of some of the ruins in c. 1792–93, and occupied today. [1] .
