Dumbarton Castle will be open from 10am – 4pm daily except Thursdays and Fridays until 31 March. From 1 April 2023, the site will be open daily from 9:30am – 5:30pm. Click here for more details.
10 de ene. de 2023 · Dumbarton Castle is set to reopen to the public in the coming months following the completion of inspections by Historic Environment Scotland (HES). Access restrictions were put in place at the visitor site in early 2022 as a safety precaution while HES introduced new measures to manage the impact of climate change on its heritage assets.

Dumbarton House Museum is open to the public for self-guided tours: Saturday and Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm. Admission to the museum is $5. Weekdays by appointment only
