Eltz Castle (German: Burg Eltz) is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of House of Eltz who have lived there since the 12th century.

Die Burg Eltz ist eine Höhenburg aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und eine der bekanntesten ihrer Art in Deutschland. Sie liegt auf 129 m ü. NHN im Tal der Elz, einem linken Nebenfluss der Mosel, in der Gemarkung der Ortsgemeinde Wierschem in Rheinland-Pfalz.

The architecture of Eltz Castle is the main attraction: its eight towers, soaring up to 35 metres high, its oriels, roofs, timber frame structures and turrets make it the epitome of a medieval castle.
