Peter Marc Jacobson is an American television writer, director, producer, and actor. He is best known as the showrunner of the popular sitcom The Nanny , which he created and produced with his then-wife, Fran Drescher , who also starred in the series.
Jacobson has been a professor at Stanford University since 1994. His research crosses two fields: Atmospheric Sciences and Energy, each discussed next. Atmospheric Sciences Jacobson started computer modeling in 1990.
