Andreas Siegfried Sachs (7 April 1930 – 23 November 2016), known professionally as Andrew Sachs, was a German-born British actor. He made his name on British television and found his greatest fame for his portrayal of the comical Spanish waiter Manuel in Fawlty Towers.

El actor Andrew Sachs ha fallecido a los 86 años a causa de una demencia vascular, tal y como informa el diario Daily Mail. Sachs será enterrado este viernes 2 de diciembre, pero su fallecimiento se produjo hace ya una semana en una clínica de cuidados especiales en la que permanecía ingresado.

He made his name on British television and rose to fame in the 1970s for his portrayals of the comical Spanish waiter Manuel in Fawlty Towers (1975), a role for which he was BAFTA nominated.
Su esposa Melody, dijo en declaraciones que el actor sufría de demencia desde hacía cuatro años, se encontraba en silla de ruedas y no podía hablar.
