Charles M. Rice ( Sacramento, 25 de agosto de 1952) es un virólogo estadounidense. Se hizo acreedor, en el 2020, al Premio Nobel en Fisiología o Medicina, por su «contribución decisiva a la lucha contra la hepatitis de transmisión sanguínea» con el «descubrimiento del virus de la hepatitis C», junto con Harvey James Alter y Michael Houghton. 1 .
Charles Moen Rice (born August 25, 1952) is an American virologist and Nobel Prize laureate whose main area of research is the hepatitis C virus. He is a professor of virology at the Rockefeller University in New York City and an adjunct professor at Cornell University and Washington University School of Medicine.
