It was the first of two albums on which he collaborated with Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, the second being On The Line, released the following year, 1982.
When Gary U.S. Bonds thinks about the rollout of his comeback album "Dedication," his first collaboration with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, all he can do is laugh. "My manager asked, 'How do you want to promote this?'" Bonds recalls, thinking back to 1981 when the album hit the Top 30 and the single "This Little Girl" reached No. 11.
