Sir James Beethom Whitehead KCMG JP (31 July 1858 – 19 September 1928) was a British diplomat, who was British Minister to Serbia 1906–1910.

Whitehead was born in the British Embassy in Berlin, where his father Sir James Beethom Whitehead was a diplomat. He was educated at Shrewsbury School and University College, Oxford, and moved to the colony of Southern Rhodesia in 1928 for health reasons.
