A steel mill or steelworks is an industrial plant for the manufacture of steel. New hot strip mill at Lázaro Cárdenas. A new 2.5 million metric ton capacity hot strip mill is nearly complete at ArcelorMittal Mexico. The mill is located at the steelmaking campus in Lazaro Cardenas and is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2021.
