17 de ago. de 2023 · The Hohenhof is an important historical building in European terms, too. It was built from 1906 to 1908 by Henry van de Velde for the Osthaus family to live in. It is deemed one of the very few extant art nouveau Gesamtkunstwerke.

Hohenhof is a 1908-built Art Nouveau villa, located within Gartenstadt Hohenhagen in the city of Hagen, Germany. The villa was designed by Belgian architect Henry van de Velde as a Gesamtkunstwerk - incorporating shell, accessories, furnishings, landscape and all into the building's design.

Garden Villa Hohenhof. Villa Hohenhof was commissioned by Karl Ernst Osthaus (1874 – 1921), the cultural reformer from Hagen, and built between 1906 and 1908 according to plans drawn up by Belgian architect Henry van de Velde (1863 – 1957) .
