MV Lyubov Orlova (built as Lyubovy Orlova) was a 1976 Yugoslavia-built ice-strengthened Maria Yermolova-class cruise ship, which was primarily used for Antarctic cruises. After being taken out of service in 2010, she sat in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada for two years.

5 de abr. de 2019 · Built for the Far Eastern Shipping Company in Vladivostok, USSR, the M/V Lyubov Orlova was one of four Maria Yermolova-class ships specifically designed for Arctic and Antarctic tourism. Named after a Russian film star, the Orlova and her sister ships offered luxury and comfort to Soviet and foreign tourists alike.
In September 2010, Lyubov Orlova was seized at St John's, Newfoundland due to debts of US$251,000 owed to the charterer, Cruise North Expeditions, from a cancelled cruise due to faults with the ship. In addition, the 51 crew members had not been paid in five months.
5 de oct. de 2013 · The Orlova is a modern-day ghost ship. It disappeared on 4 February 2013, en route to the Dominican Republic, without power or crew.
