Margaret of Norfolk or Margaret of Brotherton, Duchess of Norfolk in her own right (sometimes surnamed as "Margaret Marshal"; c. 1322 –24 March 1399), was the daughter and eventual sole heir of Thomas of Brotherton, eldest son of King Edward I of England by his second marriage.
When Margaret Mowbray was born about 1388, in England, her father, Thomas de Mowbray, was 23 and her mother, Elizabeth FitzAlan, was 23. She married Robert Howard after 21 February 1420, in England. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 5 daughters.

Thomas de Mowbray, 1st Duke of Norfolk, KG (22 March 1366 – 22 September 1399) was an English peer. His family were ancient, and by the time Thomas reached adulthood, they were extremely influential in national politics. He himself claimed a direct bloodline from King Edward I.
Lady Margaret Mowbray was the daughter of Thomas Mowbray, 1st Duke of Norfolk and Elizabeth Fitzalan.1 She married Sir Robert Howard, son of Sir John Howard, circa 1417.1 She died after 1437. Her married name became Howard.
