Ramakrishna. Apariencia. ocultar. Sri Ramakrishna ( Kamarpukur, Bengala Occidental, 18 de febrero de 1836- Calcuta, 16 de agosto de 1886). Su nombre era Gadadhar Chattopadhyay y fue un místico bengalí a quien muchos hindúes consideran un avatar o encarnación divina.
Sri Ramakrishna lived a major part of his life here. On Thursday, 31 May 1855, Ramkumar in the presence of his brother Ramakrishna officiated at the dedication ceremony of the Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Despite having Brahmanical authority since its beginning, this temple remained accessible to all irrespective of caste, creed, and class.
