Elvebakken videregående skole er en videregående skole som ligger på Vestre Elvebakke 3 i bydel Grünerløkka. Skolen er med sine ca 1 400 elever en av Oslos største skoler. Skolen ble etablert i 1921 og het tidligere Kristiania Fag- og Forskole for Håndverk og industri og deretter Oslo Yrkesskole. Den fikk sitt nåværende navn i 1976.
20 upper secondary schools and more than 800 students from all over Norway participate in the Holberg Prize School Project each year. The students are assisted by scholars and the projects are integrated into their regular curriculum.
Elise Harwiss from Elvebakken Upper Secondary School came in first place in the 2022 Holberg Prize Schoool Project with the research project: "The role of relatives in heroin assisted treatment" HAB (heroinassistert behandling, or heroin assisted treatment) started as a trial study in Oslo and Bergen in Norway.

6 de jul. de 2020 · Norway’s Royal Palace confirmed on Monday that Princess Ingrid Alexandra will start her secondary school education at the popular Elvebakken High School in Oslo this fall. It’s the largest public high school in the Norwegian capital, with 1,400 students and 150 teachers.
