Ornans (French pronunciation:) is a commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. On 1 January 2016 the former commune Bonnevaux-le-Prieuré was merged into Ornans. Ornans is a cultural and tourist centre located in the heart of the first plateau of the Jura Mountains in the Loue valley.
