WTA Premier tournaments was a category of tennis tournaments in the WTA Tour, implemented from the reorganization of the schedule in 2009 until 2020. In 2020, Premier events included: Four "Premier Mandatory" events in Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, and Beijing with prize money of $4.5 million.

The old WTA Premier Mandatory and 5 tournaments merged into a single highest tier implemented in the 2021 schedule reorganization. Until 2024, only four of the nine WTA 1000 tournaments were mandatory, when the category expanded to ten mandatory tournaments.
