El castillo de Maintenon es un elegante edificio renacentista que destaca por haber sido la residencia de Madame de Maintenon, esposa secreta del rey Sol Luis XIV. Abierto al público, el castillo ha conservado su torreón cuadrado del siglo XII, vestigio del antiguo castillo fortaleza.
