Pour le Mérite, ([puʁ lə me.ʁit]) conocida informalmente como el Max Azul o Blauer Max, fue la máxima condecoración militar concedida por Prusia y luego por Alemania durante la Primera Guerra Mundial. The Pour le Mérite was the Kingdom of Prussia 's highest military order for officers until the end of World War I. Its equivalent for non-commissioned officers and enlisted men was the Military Merit Cross . Note: Ranks should be those held at the times of the awarding.
