Zielona Góra ([ʑe'lɔna,gura] ⓘ; en alemán: Grünberg; en yidis: Grinberg ; literalmente «Monteverde») es una ciudad del oeste de Polonia, cerca de la frontera alemana. Perteneciente al voivodato de Lubusz , tenía una población de 118 730 habitantes en el año 2004.
Zielona Góra is one of the two capital cities of Lubusz Voivodeship, hosting the province's elected assembly, while the seat of the centrally appointed governor is in the city of Gorzów Wielkopolski. In 1222 Duke Henry the Bearded from the Piast dynasty brought the first settlers to the area. In 1323 Zielona Góra was granted town privileges.
W 2015 po połączeniu gminy Zielona Góra z miastem, Zielona Góra stała się największym miastem województwa lubuskiego i szóstym w Polsce pod względem powierzchni. W latach 2022–2023 w Zielonej Górze trwały obchody jubileuszu 800-lecia powstania miasta oraz 700-lecia uzyskania praw miejskich [44] .
