Joachim Ernst, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach (22 June 1583, in Cölln an der Spree – 7 March 1625, in Ansbach) was a German nobleman. He ruled as margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach from 1603 to 1625, succeeding his cousin George Frederick and succeeded by his son Frederick III .
Eight months after the death of his first wife, Christian Ernst was married a second time in Stuttgart on 8 February 1671 to Duchess Sofie Louise of Württemberg, his maternal second cousin, the eldest daughter of Eberhard III, Duke of Württemberg.

Biography. He was born in Hagenburg, the second son of Prince Wolrad of Schaumburg-Lippe and his wife Princess Bathildis of Schaumburg-Lippe (1903–1983). Following the death of his uncle Prince Adolf II in a plane crash in 1936, Philipp-Ernst's father Wolrad became the new head of the House of Schaumburg-Lippe.
