John Conduitt ( / ˈkɒnd ( j) uɪt /; c. 8 March 1688 – 23 May 1737), of Cranbury Park, Hampshire, was a British landowner and Whig politician. He sat in the House of Commons from 1721 to 1737. He was married to the half-niece of Sir Isaac Newton, whom Conduitt succeeded as Master of the Mint .

It includes a large gilt brass medallion portrait and a shield of arms, showing the coats of arms of Conduitt and Barton.

According to John Conduitt's introductory letter, The Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended was Isaac Newton's last personally revised work before his death but had actually been written much earlier.

John Conduitt, (1688-1737), politician. On 26th August 1717 he married Catherine Barton, the niece of Sir Isaac Newton, and reputedly the mistress of Charles Montagu, Earl of Halifax, who had left her Apscourt (Apps Court). As a politician Conduitt was a loyal supporter of Walpole.
