La Chaux-de-Fonds (französisch [la ʃod(ə)fɔ̃], frankoprovenzalisch und umgangssprachlich [la tʃo], la tscho) ist eine Schweizer Stadt im Kanton Neuenburg. Sie gehört neben Biel/Bienne und Le Locle zu den bekanntesten Städten der Schweizer Uhrenproduktion.
La Chaux-de-Fonds ( /la.ʃo.d(e).fɔ̃/) est une ville suisse du canton de Neuchâtel, située à environ 70 km au nord-ouest de Berne dans le massif du Jura, dont la commune est limitrophe de la France. La Chaux-de-Fonds est inscrite depuis juin 2009 avec sa voisine Le Locle sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO pour son « urbanisme horloger ».
