Dyott was the son of General William Dyott of Freeford Hall, Staffordshire and his wife Eleanor Thompson daughter of Samuel Thompson of Greenmount, co. Antrim.

  3. Richard Dyott (9 May 1667 – 13 May 1719) of Freeford Manor, near Lichfield was an English landowner and politician [1] who sat in the House of Commons in three periods between 1690 and 1710. Freeford Hall (now Freeford Manor) Dyott was the son of Richard Dyott of Freeford Manor and his second wife Anne Greene and succeeded his father in 1677. [2]
