White Lodge is a Grade I listed [1] Georgian house situated in Richmond Park, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Formerly a royal residence, it now houses the Royal Ballet Lower School, instructing students aged 11–16. Early history. White Lodge from the air in 2009.

The Grade I-listed White Lodge was formerly a royal residence and is now home to the Royal Ballet School. The park's boundary walls and ten other buildings are listed at Grade II, including Pembroke Lodge, the home of 19th-century British Prime Minister Lord John Russell and his grandson, the philosopher Bertrand Russell.

White Lodge. The Royal Ballet School's younger students moved to White Lodge, Richmond Park in Richmond, London in 1955 when the school was split for the first time. The Georgian building is a former royal residence and hunting lodge built during the reign of King George II.

Since 1955 White Lodge in London’s Richmond Park has been the home of The Royal Ballet School’s younger students. Commissioned as a hunting lodge by George I, it is a fine example of the neo-Classical English Palladian style of architecture.
