Cuba is an island country in the Caribbean Sea. The country is made up of the big island of Cuba, the Isla de la Juventud island ( Isle of Youth ), and many smaller islands. Havana is the capital city of Cuba. It is also the largest city.
Officially called amarilla ( yellow in English) in the Cuban census, [28] Cubans of East Asian origins made up 1.02% of the population in the 2002 Census of Cuba. They are primarily made up of ethnic Chinese who are descendants of indentured laborers who came in the 19th century to build railroads and work in mines.
