Perthshire was an administrative county between 1890 and 1975, governed by a county council. Initially, Perthshire County Council was based in the south wing of Perth Sheriff Court . [1] However, from 1930 onwards, a joint local government council was formed with the small neighbouring county of Kinross-shire , linking the two.
