Floor plan, 1857. The Cathedral of St. Elizabeth is the largest church in Slovakia, with a total area of 1,200 square metres (13,000 sq ft) and a capacity of more than 5,000 people. It is the main church in the Archdiocese of Košice, and is one of Europe's easternmost Gothic cathedrals.

St. Elizabeth's Church (Elisabethkirche) in Marburg, Germany, was built by the Order of the Teutonic Knights in honour of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary. [1] Her tomb made the church an important pilgrimage destination during the late Middle Ages.
