St Michael's Church is a Church of England parish church in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. Much of the building is late 10th or early 11th century, making it the most significant surviving Anglo-Saxon building in the county. It is located near the centre of the site of Roman Verulamium to the west of the modern city.

St Michael is a civil parish in the St Albans district in Hertfordshire, England. The parish is named after but no longer includes St Michael's Church in St Albans. Historically the parish covered part of the city (town before 1877) and the rural hinterland to the north-west of it.

A few steps from the popular Verulamium Museum on the outskirts of St Albans stands the beautiful ancient church of St Michael, begun in the late Saxon period on the site of the Roman basilica of Verulamium. St Michael's is the best-preserved Saxon building in Hertfordshire.
The oldest parts of this Grade I listed church date to before the Norman Conquest. It is the most extant Anglo Saxon building in Hertfordshire. Highlights include:
