  3. 16 de jun. de 2021 · Biography. Thorgils Sprakeleg was supposedly born in the 900's and died in the 1000's. Who his father was is not known, supposedly he was named Björn. [1] . Some suggest he was the son of (Styr-)Björn Olofsson and Thyra Haraldsdatter.

  4. Gytha Thorkelsdóttir was the daughter of Danish chieftain Thorgil Sprakling (also called Thorkel). Gytha was also the sister of the Danish Earl Ulf Thorgilsson who was married to Estrid Svendsdatter, the sister of King Cnut the Great. She married the Anglo-Saxon nobleman Godwin of Wessex.
