La Revuelta de los Basmachí o Basmáchestvo (Басмачество) fue un levantamiento ocurrido en la región del Turquestán contra el control del Imperio ruso que continuó contra el dominio de la Rusia soviética y afectó a amplias zonas en Asia Central. La oposición al Gobierno soviético duró de 1918 a 1924 y persistió en centros aislados hasta 1926.
Basmachi Revolt, insurrection against Soviet rule in Central Asia, begun in 1917 and largely suppressed by 1926. An amalgam of Muslim traditionalists and common bandits, the Basmachi were soon widespread over most of Turkistan, much of which was under regimes independent of but allied to Soviet.
