John Cardon Debney (born August 18, 1956) is an American composer, conductor and musician. He received an Academy Award nomination for the music for Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ (2004). He is also known for writing the music for Cutthroat Island (1995).
It was composed and conducted by John Debney . The soundtrack was first officially released on October 1, 2013, over twenty years after the film's release, by Intrada Records. The album included the complete film score along with bonus material. [1] Background.
