Lori Fortress (Armenian: Լոռի բերդ) is an 11th-century Armenian fortress located near the Lori Berd village in Lori Province, Armenia. The fortress was built by David Anhoghin to become the capital of Kingdom of Tashir-Dzoraget in 1065.

1 de mar. de 2022 · A place that we find on many tour itineraries yet one that still remains an under-the-radar attraction in Northern Armenia is Lori Berd (Lori Fortress). We visited the historical site last year and despite it being closed because of the pandemic, we were still able to walk around the perimeter of it and plan a future trip back.
