Lewis J. Rachmil (July 3, 1908 – February 19, 1984) [citation needed] was an American film producer and art director. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Art Direction for the film Our Town. [1] . In the mid and late 1940s, he produced several of William Boyd's popular Hopalong Cassidy B-Westerns. [citation needed] .
