  1. St Anne's College is a constituent college of the University of Oxford in England. It was founded in 1879 and gained full college status in 1959. Originally a women's college, it has admitted men since 1979.

  5. St Anne’s is a down-to-earth, friendly and independent-minded college. As well as being modern in outlook and architecture, it is also open to the world, informal yet academically demanding. We are proud to be a diverse and inclusive community and we take student welfare seriously.

  6. The College became co-educational in 1979. The archive consists of the administrative records of the Society and the College, including material on the early years of women’s education in Oxford and the papers of Annie Rogers (1856-1937) and Bertha Johnson (1846-1927).
