    The $126 million, 154,000-square-feet Palladium opened its doors in 2011. Its concert hall seats about 1,600, with seating available on the Orchestra, Box Tier, Mezzanine and Gallery levels.

    The Palladium was designed by architect David M. Schwarz. His design was inspired by La Rotonda, a Renaissance villa in Vicenza, Italy.

    Some of the best views of the stage are on the Gallery Level. And before the show, on this floor guests will also find the Songbook Exhibit Gallery, which features installations of text, photos and artifacts related to the history of popular music.

    During an orchestra or classical music performance, you'll notice a canopy of glass panels that will be raised or lowered over the stage to contain sound. You'll also notice each entrance to the hall includes two soundproof doorways. The entrances also have thick concrete walls and acoustic padding, to keep chatter outside from disturbing a perform...

    Designs of the building can be found within the building. The glass etching on the stair rails is a design of an aerial view of the Palladium. You'll notice the dome and the four corners of the building.

    During intermission or while grabbing a drink before the show, you'll notice the Palladium's musical theme. All of the facility's permanent bars have a representation of an 88-key piano.

    Get to the Palladium before the show and check out the Founders Room on the second floor. The Founders Room has great views of the Center Green and the Carmel City Center, which could make a perfect spot to take a photo. If possible, step out on the balcony.
