Christiane Susanne Kubrick (née Harlan; born 10 May 1932) is a German actress and painter. She was born into a theatrical family (her uncle was the film director Veit Harlan ), and was the wife of filmmaker Stanley Kubrick from 1958 until his death in 1999.

Durante la filmación de Paths of Glory en Múnich, a principios de 1957, Kubrick conoció a la actriz alemana Christiane Harlan, que luego obtendría un pequeño (aunque significativo) papel en la película. Acabaron casándose en 1958 y estuvieron juntos durante cuarenta años, hasta la muerte del director, en 1999.

Shortly after his death, Christiane assembled a personal collection of never-before-seen photographs and commentary into a book, Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures. Included among the photos was only one of Kubrick's family together, taken in 1960. [5]
