This article seems to take a decidedly sympathetic to the USPD, KPD, and Sparticists and a negative tone to both the right and the SPD. It would be better if it were more balanced. 1. Yes, this is right. USPD, KPD and Spartacists violently fought against Western democracy and the new democratic constitution. The article should reflect this anti-democratic and anti-republican, as well as extremely violent and criminal, strategy of red terrorists, instructed, controlled and paid by Lenin in Moscow to overthrow the new democratic government and its constitution. 132.19.202.73 (talk) 14:41, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Just wrote first article for wikipedia about a German politician. Needed a link to the German Revolution of 1918 and found this article. I feel it would be better titled "German Revolution of 1918" rather than "German Revolution", because there has been more than one revolution in the history of Germany, for example, the German Revolution of 1848. The only way to distinguish between these revolutions is to use their full names.

So the casualties are listed to be a total of 300,000 killed and wounded? Yet I fail to see any source for these numbers. Someone needs to fact check this, as the same article in the German Wikipedia doesnt mention any casualties at all (also suspicious)

Who can I speak to privately? Bradshawjew12345 (talk) 13:42, 12 January 2021 (UTC) 1. @Bradshawjew12345: Okay, this is Wikipedia. I don't really know how to answer your question... However, If you need aid on editing, then go to the Teahouse, but since you said "privately" then I'm not really sure what kind of help you need. Do you just require someone to talk to or is it something seriously?TheeChEese (talk) 19:54, 22 May 2021 (UTC)

It says: "The revolutionary period lasted from November 1918 until the adoption of the Weimar Constitution in August 1919." This is not true, as the adoption of the new constitution was only accepted by main stream parties, especially by leading center left party SPD that strongly supported this new constitution and partially saw it as its own creation. The adoption of the new constitution absolutely did not impress anybody within extreme groups such as the red revolutionaries paid and instructed by Lenin, to keep on rioting, looting and killing. The article is definitely wrong regarding this issue. 139.139.215.81 (talk) 14:32, 27 May 2021 (UTC) 1. That explains why I wasn't able to figured out an actual date to the end of this revolution... 2. Political revolution in 1918–1919 in Germany. The German Revolution or November Revolution (German: Novemberrevolution) was a civil conflict in the German Empire at the end of the First World War that resulted in the replacement of the German federal constitutional monarchy with a democratic parliamentary republic that later became known as the Weimar Republic.

  3. The Skirmish of the Berlin Schloss was a small skirmish between the socialist revolutionary Volksmarinedivision and regular German army units on 24 December 1918 during the German Revolution of 1918–19. It took place around the Berlin Schloss also known as "Stadtschloss" in the centre of Berlin, Germany. Around 34 people were killed and the event marked the point at which the hitherto largely bloodless revolution turned more violent. The fighting was the immediate cause for the ...

SPD and World War I[] In the decade after 1900, German Social Democracy was the leading force in the international Labour Movement. With 28% of the vote and 112 seats in the Reichstag in 1912 the Social Democrats had grown into the largest political party in Germany. Party membership was around 1 million and the party press (Vorwärts) alone had 1.5 million subscribers. The trade unions had 2.5 million members, most of whom probably supported the Social Democrats. In addition, there were ...

Sailors' revolt[] Main article: Sailors' revolt in Kiel While the war-weary troops and the population disappointed by the Kaiser's government awaited the speedy end of the war, the Imperial Naval Command in Kiel under Admiral Franz von Hipper and Admiral Reinhardt Scheer planned without authorization to dispatch the fleet for a last battle against the Royal Navy in the southern North Sea. The naval order of 28 October 1918 and the preparations to sail triggered first a mutiny among the affected...
