Julen Lopetegui Agote (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈʝulen lopeˈteɣjaˈɣote]; [citation needed] born 28 August 1966) is a Spanish former professional footballer, currently a manager. A goalkeeper, he played 149 La Liga matches over nine seasons, representing Real Madrid, Logroñés, Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano in the competition.

Hijo de José Antonio Lopetegui, levantador de piedras (Harrijasotzaile) conocido con el apodo de «Aguerre II» y que compaginó este deporte con el asador que regentaba junto a su esposa y madre de Lopetegui en la planta baja de su casa.
